Footwear Technology Center of Portugal (CTCP) hosted the first meeting of the European project SHOEPRO, which took place from November 26 to 29. This project, co-funded by the European Union, aims to drive the digital and green transition in the footwear sector, bringing together partners from Portugal and Croatia, including associations, companies, and academic institutions.

In addition to the initial meeting, several workshops were held with stakeholders, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration. These workshops focused on key topics such as rapid prototyping, sustainable materials, and process automation, while also addressing the digital and green transformation of the industry.

During the four days of work, participants also engaged in technical visits to companies within the footwear cluster, including Armipex, TECO, SIFAC, DIAS RUIVO, and MIND, as well as the Footwear Museum. These visits offered valuable insights into technological solutions and innovative practices in the Portuguese Footwear sector.
